ReplyDeleteYesterday my husband lost the mobile phone in the cab while travelling from jadavpur office to belghata deshbandhu. Within a a minute as he remembered he gave a call in the mobile but then it was switched off. I m sure mobile is stolen by the taxi driver whose name was AMAR. This incident was done in the trip time was 8:15pm approx - 9:51pm. Mobile got off in 9:53pm. If I try to book a ride showing pay outsanding. . Try tocontact them it is not possible. There is no phone no.
ReplyDeleteI have booked a cab on 14th April at around 11 am from hazra crossing. Cab was supposed to pick me up with in 3 minutes. But didn't though I waited there for 15 minutes. I couldn't contact the driver as it was not provided,so cancelled the trip. It shows that I have been charged Rs 60 /-for cancellation and it will added in the next trip. Please clarify this to me in any possible way.

DeleteWhen my paytm balance showed 450 plus, how come the message "insufficient funds" went on flashing? I was taken to add funds and had to immediately add 600/ in order to book an Uber when the destination was only some 2 kms away from the point of pickup.
ReplyDeleteAlso, after 7pm, the app invariably shows "no cars" in even the very heart of the city!!
Even with paytm balance of more than 450, "insufficient funds" kept on flashing, preventing me from booking an urgently needed Uber car. I was forced to go on add funds and only after adding Rs.600/ was I able to book a ride tova destination barely 2 kms away from pickup point.

My account is showing an outstanding due of Rs.142.68 for absolutely no reason. I always pay by cash. As a result of this, I am not able to book a ride. I demand this matter be immediately resolved. This is outright cheap fraudulence!

Ven i booked the cab there was no surge charge applied. But the bill i was charged was double than usual without any surge charge and through the same route of travel. I found something fishy done by the driver himself. I want to know the customer care number so that i can speak to a representative and lodge a complain.

on 31 May 2016 my driver told me that there was some problem in PAYTM connectivity and requested me to pay cash. I paid Rs 422.00, and I checked that it was not deducted from my PAYTM. - all was fine till a week later, the UBER app shows me that I need to pay Rs 422.18 which was not charged in my PAYTM account. I called the driver two times but he has not responded. ReplyDeleteI would like to report today's incident. I booked Uber cab at 08:22 hrs (Driver's Name- Tilok Contact No. 7059661450 Vehicle- Maruti Swift Desire bearing last digits 3973). I called him up to know his location and give him exact direction. Not only he ignored my instructions he spoke with shocking rudeness - to quote him "Get lost" is what he said to me in Bengali. He after a while canceled the trip.

Sir,I booked Uber on 11.9.16 which I availed at 6.45 pm.My trip was from my home to Annadapalit bus stop.I booked it on normal fair without any Surge and on uber go.I am reagularly travelleng on uber.After completion I was surprised when my driver Munazir Mobl no 9163721036 asked me to pay Rs 267 .I was surprised .Followed by the statement sent to me stating only the amount.No break up is found as it happens in all occasion.In this context I have sent so many malls to you but problem not yet solved.So,I hope and firmly expect that you will look after this incident seriously and return me the extra amount which has been charged to me .I am a regular customer of Uber.But after this incident I am not at all comfortable to book.Do the needful and Reply me urgently.

I rode with Uber to the hospital from newtown to saltlake and that costed me some 63 rupees and while returning back, I again booked Uber. The driver attended my call saying that he is about to reach the pick up location. It came and while I was about to step in another man from somewhere popped into the cab.... I tried to say that this man is not along with me and also this is not a pooled one ...so how can you allow him to come along with me, he didn't listen and since it was a really busy road, I could not get into the argument and it moved on with a stranger rider.
I immediately tried to cancel my ride since the payment method was through paytm wallet. But it didn't allow to do so and the result is 60 rs got deducted from my paytm wallet.
Now, I request you to process the refund and also take action against the driver of the cab ASAP.

ReplyDeleteAt about 1.45 pm on 1st Nov.2016, I took an Uber ride from my registered address at Narendrapur, Kolkata-700103 to Nazrul Tirtha, Newtown, Kolkata ( 22 kms.) and Rs.262/- was billed for the same. During return journey from the same point, a highly inflated bill of Rs.531.57 i.e. more than double has been generated. It is unethical, unfair&cheating

After waiting for long time I had to cancel the booking as there was no response from the driver. I am a regular traveller of uber but this is the first time I faced such unusual service of uber.Also please note that Rs 60 was deducted from my paytm wallet. I want complete refund of my money as I had to cancel the trip only because of non response from your driver. So arrange to refund the deducted money immediately.

I have booked a Uber pool car at 8.33 p.m on 19.1.2017 to pickup me at 24 Shekespere Sarani, Kolkata. i spoke over phone with driver's mobile no. 7003771300 & 9748739733 about 4 times. Driver told that he is not interested for behala side and cancel the booking. I refused to cancel the same. "Driver ne bad main hindi main galiya deni suru kar di." Driver never came to 24 Shekespere Sarani, Kolkata and after some time cancelled the trip. My account was debited for Rs. 60/- due to driver's intention. Please take suitable action on driver. Please find out by your car moving map that driver never came to my pickup point 24 Shekespere Sarani, Kolkata. We never expect this type of behavior from Uber. Please take action against driver and credit Rs.60/- to my paytm account.

When i reached the destination that is esplanade the fare auto updated to 186rs. As my option was cash i paid 186rs to the driver. Request you to kindly refund me the balance amount after deducting 79rs and refund the rest amount.

Hello. This is Kunal Chattopadhyay. Mobile +919831398301. I have a non functioning Uber App. I booked an Uber ride from Koramangala to Bengaluru airport early in january. The total bill was higher than the Rs 660 in my PayTM. since then, every time I try to call an Uber I am reminded of an unpaid Rs 938. But every time I try to pay the App malfunctions. As a result, I cannot clear the bill. Nor do I simply want to delete the App since it has Rs 660 in it.

Hi I am Bangladeshi. Today I have taken one Uber service arrived from 76 Broad street to Mirza galib street hotel VIP international.Where it has showing charge 186 rupes. This is quite impossible. I told the driver why it is high he told me before you were cancelled two trips.Thats way you have given penalty.It's really painful to me. I need a solution.
ReplyDeleteI am a frequent user of Uber services...Last Saturday (1/4/2017 ) from Heysham Road Kolkata I booked one uber pool for CIT road Beliaghata....the driver was Pradip , phone # 7059487081...we were waiting for the car and even tried to call him...but found engaged....all of a sudden found that the driver cancelled the trip...I again booked one.... the estimate fare was Rs 62 , however I had to pay Rupees 60 more ie 62+60=122-30=92 (Rs 30 discount ), later I called up Pradip and said that he waited for 5mins and cancelled it and did not have balance to call me.....but I was waiting for the car on the given location....

Today i booked a uber taxi from park circus markek early morning at 8 am and the estimate charge was given about rs 40 but from my paytem rs 80 was deducted and this is happing very frequently of over charges just taking the advantage like the yellow taxi but in a very pollish manner

There is no such system to reply customer quarries from uber. Uber doesn't have any number where customer can talk with a rep. directly. In fact they don't have any customer grievance cell. UBER SERVICE IS WORSE.

ReplyDeletei am a regular pool user of uber . I have great regard for all drivers so i score them excellent . But very off late i have found few drivers they are not upto the mark . Infact i have very couple of drivers who are very arrogant . To the extent some of them cant even read the route and locations but we help them . At the time of boarding infront of other riders he started the conversation very rudely . When we ride your car we definitely have a standard and prestige . At times your GPRS reflects an abnormal location compare to given my location . Due to your business rush please donot recruit below standard drivers . We know loosing one rider is not an issue for you but like business is always very compitative . Near future when other service provider will land up then you will b facing consequences...... Rgds
ReplyDeleteI booked a cab and the app showed the driver will be available in 5 mins. I called the driver and he said he will pick me up in 10 mins. Called him after 10 mins and he said he was on his way and will be there in 5 mins. Called him after 5 mins and he did not take my call. I called him for 15 times since I was getting late and for the next half an hour he did not answer the call. I have his details and will soon post on social media to make people aware of the bad service carried out by Uber and it's drivers. And this wasn't the first time. The drivers are not aware of the locations even in central Kolkata areas. And they don't turn up at times. It's a shame for Uber who has put up their name in various countries around the world for good service. Kolkata sector should take care of their management and employees properly. Running a business with bad service doesn't serve much.

You shown me for 2 times that I had been booked in ur Uber service, but unfortunately very shamelessly both the stupid driver of urs has ignored to receive my ph calls, don't know why..!!!
1st one get switched off his mobile & the 2nd one don't try to rcv the call instead of i rang 3to4 times!!! They didn't know how to behave with their passengers..!!! So regretfull..!!! I had an urgency right there and I could not reached to my destination in proper time and I was lost some monetary incident just b'coz of u people. After ward when I was bound to cancelled my trip, without any investigation how dare u people charging me fine as for cancellations..!!???
Pls try to keep the faith of ur good name, as I am a very frequent passenger of OLA /UBER. Thinking, why don't I go for a RTI against this full drama?? Where I have every relevant documents, recording, etc for how many times and how long my ph was rang during the every time of my calls to ur bloody drivers. Also thinking for monetary compensation that may claims to you, which I have lost for ur improper behavior through ur drivers for kept me in wait as well as harassment.

ReplyDeleteYesterday when I booked a cab from uber the driver made me wait for 50 minutes but then he cancelled the trip and Uber charged me 48 rs cancellation fees . Then why I will pay the cancellation fess since the driver cancel the trip that too after wasting my 50 minutes.Instead of feeling sorry for customer you are penalising, please penalise driver for harrasing and wasting my valuable time .

ReplyDeleteI,mani sankar bepari (Mob-9433214600) have travel from Fotis hospital Kolkata to Sodepur trikon park on 25.05.18 & 462.00 cash payment done successfully. Next I have travel from sodepur to dakhsineswar kali temple on 27.05.18. & trip charge was showing 186.00 but during payment time uber has claim 649.00 instead of 186.00 & that amount ( 649.00) I have paid by cash. I request you to take necessary action for refund of exess amount 462.00 as early as possible.
