I wanted a Cab to go to south railway station...Your uber driver accepted and then never turned up.....he didnt even answer my calls. I lost my train because of this. Worst of all Uber charges me 50 for the ride i never took. Mind you there are consumer forums, twitter and other social media....Such arrogance and torture of customers will land you nowhere in your rat race.

ReplyDeleteToday, 7 Sept.2016 at 13: 21 I booked a Uber cab for journey from GRAND MALL Edappally, Kochi to my residence at Imperial Gardens. The Driver one MARTIN gave me a missed call at 13:21 and called me at 13:23. I waited, bu the did not turn up.I contacted him by phone at 13:26 and 13:27. He said he can not come to the mall entrance as there is an auto stand.I told him that my wife is an invalid who cannot walk. He again said he can not come . He said you call another taxi. I told him I and my wife are standing in the hot sun as directed by him for the past several minutes waiting for the taxi and cant wait any further for a taxi. He said he can not come as there is a auto stand. I told him that I will report him to Uber for this kind of behaviour. He said, yes, you can complain, nothing will happen.

On Friday, the 30th December, 2016 I had 2 rides in Uber. I paid for two rides. One was Rs.370.12 and the other was Rs.114.41. The payments were made by Paytm. I had Rs.1000/- in my wallet and the balance showed me was Rs.534.88. Yesterday evening I had a ride and I thought of paying cash and option was changed. When I reached the destination, the driver asked Rs.114.41 extra which was my last trip's fare. I paid Rs. 203/- in total. Please give me the clarifications in this regard. Though I had requested for the cab early, the irresponsible and insensitive driver did not even try to reach my pickup location. I called him twice and he did not respond correctly and the second time he even cut the call when I was talking to him. It is high time for such a reputed company to terminate such drivers. I had to reach railway station so as to go for my journey and this incident created so much inconvenience to me.

He had accidentally pressed the mobile, and the fare shown was much less [around Rs. 56/-]. He asked me to log in once again from the same destination to find out the correctfare, which I did, and it was around Rs. 240/-, and i paid the amount then and there. Pllease note that I didn't request any ride. In the light of these facts, I don't have have any payment due. kindly verify the facts with the concerned driver, and clear me from a payment which i have already made.

Junction, I paid the full amount [around Rs. 240/-]. You may verify the fact with the concerned driver. He made some mistake such as touching the mobile, and the fare was shown as only Rs.56/-. However, as he suggested, i found out the actual fare, and i paid it then and there. Therfore, please consider the payment as already paid.
